Scouting Baylor

Record: 11-1, 8-1 Big 12

Best players: Sophomore linebacker Terrel Bernard, senior safety Chris Miller and senior safety Henry Black combined for 40 tackles against the Sooners the first time around, and if Baylor's defense wants to be dominant again, the three of them will need to have another big day. Junior quarterback Charlie Brewer will need to have another performance like his first half against Oklahoma to give the Bears a chance. The Sooners were able to limit Brewer in the second half, but he was able to lead a dominant Baylor offense in the first half.

The case for the Bears: Baylor had Oklahoma's number for the first half of their regular season meeting. Baylor was able to limit the Sooners' offense and run over their defense in the first half. If the Bears can put together an entire game like the first half they had against Oklahoma in their first meeting this season, they can win.
