New airdate set for Hershey Bears’ Teddy Bear toss on ESPN show
Set your DVRs. The episode of ESPN′s E:60 featuring the Hershey Bears' Teddy Bear toss is now scheduled for February 16 at 7 p.m.
The segment was to originally air January 26, but it was delayed due to Kobe Bryant's death. E:60 aired a program on Bryant's life and legacy that night.
Fans tossed a record-breaking 45,650 stuffed animals during the annual toss on Dec. 1. They ranged from small teddy bears to giant stuffed sloths. The team collected 34,798 teddy bears and other stuffed animals in 2018 and 25,017 in 2017.
The stuffed animals collected from the toss were donated to more than 40 central Pa. organizations.
ESPN's E:60 will document both the toss and the distribution of the donated toys.
